LIVING IN LONDON

In London, you can find curries from South Asia, pasta from Italy, tapas from Spain and food from Africa, China, the West Indies and every part of Europe and America. London's street markets and shops also offer produce from every part of the world.

Culturally, London is similarly diverse. It has truly world-class facilities including the British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum and Natural History Museum, art galleries including the Tate Britain, Tate Modern and National Gallery as well as numeous temporary exhibitions.

Libraries include the new facilities of the British Library, and specialist collections for almost every imaginable subject.

Every night you can choose from literally hundreds of concerts, films or plays to attend. As well as British artists and performers, London regularly attracts international stars from every field of entertainment. Sport, too, is well served in the capital, with six Premier League football teams, and all other sports represented at every level.

Travel to other parts of Britain and the rest of Europe is easy from London, with the Channel Tunnel bringing Paris and Brussels within three hours journey time.
